- Up to $80,000 ($20,000 per year). Can be combined with Arkansas state scholarships (in-state) or the New Arkansan Non-Resident Tuition Award (out-of-state). About 70 to 80 Honors College Fellowships and 5 to 6 each of the Bodenhamer and Sturgis Fellowships per year.
- Deadline
- Nov. 15 priority scholarship deadline (apply to the university by Nov. 1) or Feb. 1 final deadline (apply by Jan. 15). Dates displayed without a year. Recommendation letters are due by the final deadline.
- How to apply
- Apply to the U of A, then complete the fellowship application in the New Student Center: one essay (600 words maximum), up to eight activities, up to five academic awards and two recommenders. Fellowship applicants must also complete an Honors College application.

- Incoming first-year students with a 32 ACT (composite on one exam) or 1430 SAT and a 3.90 weighted high school GPA (U of A weights only AP, IB and dual enrollment courses and may recalculate). Bodenhamer also looks for demonstrated leadership; Sturgis is for Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences majors.
- Good to know
- The Natural State and Boyer Fellowships consider financial need and are not covered by this record. The fellowship application also counts for U of A freshman academic scholarships.
