- Merit scholarship covering full tuition, renewable for up to four years, plus eligibility for up to $10,000 in professional development funds after the first year. The university also commits to meeting each scholar's full demonstrated need.
- Deadline
- Must be admitted in the Early Action or Early Decision I round and apply to the University Honors Program. Dates are not listed on the program page; finalists attend a virtual Selection Day in mid-March.
- How to apply
- Admitted EA and ED I applicants may apply to the University Honors Program. Johnson finalists are chosen from that pool and attend a virtual Selection Day; 5 scholars are selected.

- Good to know
- Scholars must maintain a 3.5 GPA, take part in the honors program and file the FAFSA each year.
