- Packages of $6,500 to $30,000 per year ($26,000 to $120,000 over four years), including an extra USC Scholarship of at least $500. Last year's averages: $26,000-$30,000 recipients averaged 1450 SAT/33 ACT, 4.7 GPA, top 6%; $16,000-$18,000 averaged 1390/31, 4.5, top 11%; $6,500-$12,000 averaged 1300/28, 4.4, top 14%.

- Automatic consideration for all freshmen who apply by December 1.

- No separate application: you are considered when you apply for admission
- Who can apply
- Nonresident first-year applicants. Amounts depend on the applicant pool and funding.
- Good to know
- Figures are last year's recipient averages, not minimums or guarantees, and no entry year is named. Only one general merit award, except the Provost Scholars Award for National Merit Finalists. Separate from the McNair/Stamps/Horseshoe programs.
