Award

2026-27 amounts, per year for four years: 4.0+ UT weighted core GPA and 34-36 ACT or 1490-1600 SAT $18,000 ($72,000); 4.0+ and 30-33 ACT or 1360-1480 SAT $9,000 ($36,000); 3.8+ and 28+ ACT or 1300+ SAT $3,000 ($12,000).

Automatic consideration for admitted out-of-state first-year students who apply by the deadline.

What you'll need

• Test scores (check whether they are optional)

Who can apply

Out-of-state first-year students with a minimum 3.8 UT weighted core GPA. Composite superscore used. Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or domestic international student and enroll the fall after graduating from a U.S. high school.

Good to know

Amounts shown are for 2026-27; fall 2027 amounts may change. Page gives two different apply-by dates. Cannot be combined with the Orange and White Scholarship. Renewal: 3.0 GPA.
