Presidential Scholarship (nonresident)

- Award
- $15,000 per year, renewable for four years (totaling $60,000) for newly admitted students. Paid each semester and can apply to all charges on the university bill.
- Deadline
- Submit a completed application for admission no later than Jan. 15 (displayed without a year). Offers arrive with the admission decision.
- How to apply
- No separate application. Incoming nonresident first-year students are considered based on the materials in their admission application.

- Who can apply
- Incoming nonresident first-year students who remain nonresidents for tuition purposes. Receiving an in-state tuition exception makes a student ineligible.
- Good to know
- Highly selective. ACT/SAT scores are not considered and will not be reviewed if submitted. There is no appeal process. Recipients cannot also receive the CU Boulder Chancellor's Achievement Scholarship. Must enroll full time (12+ credits) each fall and spring.
