- Four-year scholarship covering tuition and fees up to $16,000 per year (maximum $8,000 per semester), an estimated total value of $64,000. The Deans' Scholarship (up to $8,000 per year) is awarded through the same review. Merit scholarships cover in-state costs only.
- Deadline
- Common Application plus official high school transcript must be received by Nov. 1 (displayed without a year). Notification by the beginning of April.
- How to apply
- No separate application. All incoming first-year students who apply by Nov. 1 are considered for university-level scholarships.

- Incoming first-year VCU applicants. Recipients are selected on academic merit; leadership, community service and artistic talent may also be considered.
- Good to know
- Renewable for up to three more years with 28 credit hours per year and a 3.3 cumulative GPA. The FAFSA is encouraged but not stated as required.
