- Award
- Archer Presidential Scholarship: full tuition, room, board, books and fees for about five first-year students, renewable for up to four years (eight semesters; five years for B.Arch.). Hearst Endowed Scholarship: one scholarship covering full tuition, room, board, books and fees.
- Deadline
- Complete the admission application by the Early Action I deadline of November 1 (displayed without a year). Finalists are notified in late November or early December and interview on campus in late January. Recipients must pay the enrollment deposit by April 1.
- How to apply
- No additional steps at the initial stage. Candidates who first qualify for the Trustee Scholarship (currently $25,000) are considered; 12 to 15 finalists are invited to interview for the Archer award and about five for the Hearst award.

- First-year applicants to Belmont. These awards recognize about the top 1% of first-year applicants; a strong candidate typically has a cumulative GPA above 4.43 and an ACT of 34 or SAT of 1430 if a score is submitted (a typical profile, not a minimum).

- Belmont states that demonstrated financial need may be considered for the Archer award, so filing the FAFSA is highly encouraged for those selected.
