- Award
- $40,000 annual scholarship, renewable for up to eight fall/spring semesters while program requirements are met. Offered separately in the College of Engineering (Engineering Merit Scholars), the College of Arts and Sciences (Malesardi Arts and Sciences Merit Scholarship) and the Freeman College of Management (Management Merit Scholars).

- Consideration follows your admission round: Early Decision I Nov. 1; Early Decision II and Regular Decision Jan. 10 (displayed without a year). Notifications generally come with admission decisions.

- No separate scholarship application is required for these programs; apply for admission to Bucknell.

- High-achieving, intellectually curious incoming first-year students admitted to the relevant college.
- Good to know
- Bucknell states that most merit funding is awarded to students with demonstrated institutional need, with a limited amount for students without need or who do not apply for aid. Students cannot receive multiple academic scholarships. These programs replace the Presidential Fellowship for new students.
