Green and Gold Presidential Waiver Award (non-Florida residents)

Award

For the most recent posted cycle: about $44,000 (up to $11,000 per year) as an out-of-state tuition waiver. Lower tiers: Green and Gold Directors Waiver (~$36,000) and Green and Gold Scholars Waiver (~$20,000).

Deadline

Not yet posted for fall 2027. For Summer or Fall 2026, the complete freshman application was due January 15, 2026.

How to apply

No separate application. Admitted first-time-in-college students are automatically considered when their complete application (application, test scores, STARS or transcript, fee) is in by the scholarship deadline.

Admitted first-time-in-college students who are not Florida residents.

Good to know

Unconfirmed: fall 2027 amounts and deadline. The waiver is canceled if residency changes to in-state and cannot be combined with other tuition waivers.
