- Apply for fall 2027 admission, become a National Merit Finalist, and declare UMN Twin Cities as first choice with NMSC by the final deadline.

- Who can apply
- National Merit Finalists. The $2,000 scholarship is only for Finalists not eligible for an NMSC corporate-sponsored or National Merit $2500 Scholarship. NMSC requires entrants to be US citizens or US lawful permanent residents intending to become citizens.
