Award

$2,000 per year, renewable for up to four years.

Deadline

Be admitted by the priority admission deadline and apply in JagSPOT before the scholarship deadline. The page shows fall 2026 dates (priority February 15, 2026).

How to apply

Be an NMSC Finalist admitted by the priority admission deadline, inform NMSC that South Alabama is your first choice, and complete the JagSPOT application.

Who can apply

NMSC Finalists admitted to South Alabama. NMSC requires entrants to be US citizens or US lawful permanent residents intending to become citizens.
