Apply by February 15, become a National Merit Finalist, designate UNR as first choice with NMSC before May 1, and accept admission by June 1.
Who can apply
Entering freshman National Merit Finalists. NMSC requires entrants to be US citizens or US lawful permanent residents intending to become citizens.
Good to know
The page does not name an entry year. National Merit Scholars are not eligible for need-based grants such as Pack Promise+, FSEOG and State Access grants. Renewal: 3.50 GPA and 15 credits per semester.
