- Download the nomination form during the window and submit the packet to the American Legion Department in the state where your Scout unit is chartered.

- A finalist round or selection weekend
- Membership in the sponsoring organization
- Entry through a local chapter or club
- Who can apply
- Registered active Scouting America members who have earned the Eagle Scout Award and a religious emblem, are at least 15 and enrolled in high school, and either belong to a unit chartered to an American Legion post, auxiliary unit or SAL squadron, or have a parent or grandparent who is a current Legion, SAL or Auxiliary member.
