Who can apply

High school seniors age 24 or under who are U.S. residents in the Alliant Energy service territory (Iowa and Wisconsin), dependent children of current customers in good standing (Interstate Power and Light or Wisconsin Power and Light), with a 2.5 to 4.0 GPA, enrolling for the first time full time in a STEM field or craft/skilled trade at an accredited two- or four-year school in Iowa or Wisconsin.

Good to know

Scholarship America page states financial need is not considered. Selection weighs field of study, leadership and community service, GPA and the essay.
