Financial need is part of how this award is decided, alongside merit.

Award

$1,000 initial award for college essentials, then up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Up to 1,500 scholarships for 2027-28.

Deadline

Fall application available September 1, 2026, due December 1, 2026. Spring application available January 15, 2027, due March 15, 2027.

How to apply

Create a username and password on the online application portal and apply once (applicants may apply one time only). Submit a high school transcript and a letter of recommendation. Finalists provide a FAFSA Summary (US citizens) or citizenship documentation.

Who can apply

Students in the high school graduating class at a US high school with an unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Parents' adjusted gross household income for 2025 must not exceed $125,000. Must enroll at an eligible four-year college the first fall after graduation and apply for federal and state grants if eligible. Open to eligible students regardless of nationality or citizenship.

Good to know

Recipients must work 240 hours between January 1, 2027 and September 1, 2027 to receive the fall disbursement. Household income limit applies.
