This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.

Award

Many donor scholarships (more than 300 funds); amounts vary. Average award in 2026-27 was $7,230.

Deadline

Opens December 1, 2026. Closes February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawaii Standard Time.

How to apply

Complete the HCF Common Scholarship Application in the HCF scholarship portal to be considered for all funds.

Who can apply

Hawaii residents who demonstrate financial need and keep a minimum 2.0 GPA unless a fund states otherwise. Individual funds have their own residency, school, major, merit and need rules.

Good to know

Financial need is a general requirement.
