ETF Common Scholarship Application

This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.

Many donor scholarships; amounts vary and are subject to change.

Deadline

2027 deadline not yet posted; the 2026 deadline for most scholarships was March 15, 2026 (applications opened December 15, 2025). A few funds use separate windows.

How to apply

Create an account in the ETF scholarship portal (Grant Interface), complete the ETF Common Scholarship Application to be matched, then answer each matched scholarship's added questions.

Who can apply

East Tennessee students. Individual funds have their own residency, school, major, merit and need rules.

Good to know

Some funds consider need and ask for a FAFSA Submission Summary or Federal Student Aid Estimator results; students who cannot file a FAFSA because of immigration or citizenship status remain eligible for many programs. Awards notified by about July 1.
