- 2027-2028 dates not yet posted. The 2026-2027 deadline was March 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
- How to apply
- Complete the Common Scholarship Application (short essays; some funds need recommendations or supplements) plus a FAFSA, CA Dream Act Application or Federal Student Aid Estimator result.

- Recommendation letters
- A short essay or statement
- Test scores (check whether they are optional)
- Who can apply
- Graduating high school seniors, current undergraduate or graduate students and adult re-entry students who have lived in San Diego County at least one full year. Minimum 2.0 GPA; most funds require 2.0 or 2.5. Undocumented and international students may apply for funds not limited to citizens or permanent residents.
- Good to know
- Many funds consider financial need, including middle-income families. Some funds interview in April.
