Who can apply

Graduates of a New York State high school ranked in the top 10 percent of their graduating class, U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens and legal New York residents for 12 continuous months, who pursue an approved STEM degree at a SUNY or CUNY college starting the fall after graduation.

Good to know

Must agree to live in New York State and work in an approved STEM occupation for five years, or the award converts to a loan. Page says the program is currently closed; confirm it reopens before listing as live.
