- Award applied toward standard undergraduate tuition at eligible Georgia public colleges (up to 15 hours) or a set amount at eligible private colleges (up to 12 hours). See GSFC award amount tables.

- Application deadline is the last day of the school term or the student's withdrawal date, whichever occurs first.

- Complete the FAFSA or the Georgia Student Finance Application (GSFAPP)
- What you'll need
- No separate application: you are considered when you apply for admission
- Who can apply
- Georgia resident; U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen; graduate from an eligible high school with a minimum 3.7 calculated HOPE GPA, at least four full rigor credits, and a minimum 1200 SAT or 25 ACT on a single test administration before graduation. Alternatively, the named Zell Miller valedictorian or salutatorian with a minimum 3.0 HOPE GPA and four rigor credits qualifies.
- Good to know
- Only usable at eligible Georgia colleges. Students not eligible at high school graduation cannot gain Zell Miller eligibility in college. The 3.0 valedictorian/salutatorian path is an exception to the 3.7 minimum.
