- $10,000 scholarship paid in four annual installments of $2,500. 200 awards statewide, at least one per Maine public high school.
- Deadline
- Opens December 1, 2026. Due March 1, 2027 (college financial aid letter due April 1, 2027).

- Apply through the Common App or the Mitchell Scholarship Application (complete only one).
- Who can apply
- Full-time Maine residents on track to graduate from a Maine public high school who plan to attend a two-year or four-year degree program at an accredited college. Selection is based on academics, community impact and financial need.
