- Universal application reopens in January 2027. 2026 fund deadlines ranged from February 13 to May 15.

- Apply through the CFT universal application portal; submit essays, two or more recommendations, FAFSA documentation and GPA verification as required.

- Who can apply
- Mostly North Texas (Dallas, Collin, Denton, Tarrant, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall counties), with some statewide and national funds. GPA minimums range from 2.0 to 3.5. Individual funds have their own residency, school, major, merit and need rules.
