This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.
- Award
- Many donor scholarships (over 100 funds); awards from $1,000 to $12,000, average about $3,000. Over $1.6 million to 500+ students in 2024-25.
- Deadline
- 2027-28 application dates not yet posted; the 2026-27 deadline has passed.
- How to apply
- Apply through the TGKVF Scholarship Portal (Grant Interface).
- Who can apply
- West Virginia residents statewide, high school seniors and up, attending in-state or out-of-state two-year, four-year, vocational or graduate programs; homeschool students eligible. Individual funds have their own residency, school, major, merit and need rules.
- Good to know
- Students usually receive only one TGKVF scholarship. Volunteer reviewers recommend awards; notifications in May.
