- No formal application; become a National Merit Scholar and enroll at an eligible Florida institution that is a college sponsor.

- No separate application: you are considered when you apply for admission
- Who can apply
- Florida residents who earn a standard Florida high school diploma, are National Merit Scholars, and enroll at an eligible Florida postsecondary institution in the fall term after graduation.
- Good to know
- 2026-27 fact sheet lists only nine participating Florida institutions (including UF, FSU and University of Miami). Renewal requires a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Related college-specific FSU Benacquisto record exists.
